Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain and repair equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Maintain the building and its related systems.
• Hold certifications/licenses related to healthcare engineering, such as Steam boiler, HVAC, etc.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

• Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a trade related to healthcare engineering.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
