Job summary

Lignetics, Inc. in Brownsville, Oregon, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the Brownsville Plant maintenance program, drive safe, reliable operations, and reduce unplanned downtime.

You will build a craftsman team and planner, manage MVP CMMS modules, coordinate planning and purchasing, oversee repairs to pellet mills and conveyors, and report progress to the Plant Manager. This role requires strong leadership, technical maintenance expertise, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent industry experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management systems.
• PLC knowledge a plus.
• Situational leadership.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Time Based/Condition Based maintenance routine development.
• Experience with Predictive maintenance tools such as Vibration Monitoring, Thermography and Oil sampling.
• Office and ERP system experience is preferred (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Sage).

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance program for the Brownsville Plant.
• Develop and implement a maintenance strategy to reduce unplanned stops.
• Develop a team of craftsmen and a planner.
• Manage CMMS MVP modules and spare parts stores.
• Support planning and kitting for maintenance.
• Oversee rebuild/repair of pellet mills and conveyors.
• Drive improvements in maintenance systems and TPM programs.
• Provide regular safety and maintenance reports to the Plant Manager.
• Participate in performance management and annual reviews.
• Stand in for the Plant Manager when absent.
