Job summary

Batesville is seeking a Maintenance Leader to direct tool room and maintenance activities, drive efficiency, and oversee a team of technicians in a manufacturing setting. You will coordinate resources, supervise a skilled maintenance staff, and implement preventive programs to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Engineering or Maintenance and 6+ years of senior maintenance experience, with LEAN/CI expertise and familiarity with JD Edwards and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Maintenance and 6+ years related experience.
• Ability to train, manage, lead, and understand LEAN/CI initiatives; basic MS Office.
• Experience in JD Edwards and AutoCAD; union environment preferred; travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for tool room and maintenance department activities following safety policies.
• Allocate resources to maximize productivity and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Lead and develop maintenance group leaders and associates in mechanical and electrical repair, materials, and PPE.
• Plan preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and inspections with engineering and quality teams.
• Supervise hourly and exempt employees in the Maintenance Team and ensure policy compliance.
