Job summary

ALTIVIA Petrochemicals in Haverhill, Ohio is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, facilities, operations and purchasing by performing routine maintenance, housekeeping, inventory management, material handling and facility support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills essential.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety requirements and supervisor instructions.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment after training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance with routine maintenance and facility support under supervision.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Participate in 5S initiatives and workplace organization.
• Support inventory management including locating, labeling, tracking and restocking parts and equipment.
• Operate material handling equipment after training and certification.
• Label and organize waste drums and plant materials per procedures.
