Aireon LLC is seeking a Plant Engineer to lead the SNG Plant Maintenance Department, directing maintenance strategies, improving productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards in Hawaii.

The role focuses on optimizing equipment layouts, workflows, and workforce utilization, coordinating with management, and sustaining adherence to company policies and guidelines. This position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and leadership within a union environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education.
• 1-4 years of in-field engineering experience.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Working experience in a Union environment.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical and/or mechanical engineering (preferred).
• 5-7 years of field experience in the petrochemical or energy industry (preferred).
• A valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all production activities and monitors and prepares reports.
• Inspects all associate plant machines and equipment; performs regular audit on safety programs.
• Manages personnel including supervision, training and development.
• Communicates goals, objectives, and priorities to staff.
• Directs maintenance department during absence of supervisors.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local codes and regulations; attends relevant workshops.
