Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering technology or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in plant maintenance.
• Certification in industrial maintenance or mechanical engineering (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician).
• Experience with CMMS and knowledge of electrical systems as they relate to mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and execute timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan and implement equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and repair tasks.
