Athens Services in Sun Valley, CA is seeking a Cleaner to support our Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and plant equipment. You will diligently clean conveyors, decks, fans, tunnels and related infrastructure to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a heavy labor role.
• Ability to perform physical requirements: standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 lbs.

• Safety conscious and able to work 3rd shift.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean MRF equipment (conveyor, beds, head & tail pulley) to ensure proper function.
• Clean shaker decks and exhaust fans and conveyor tunnels to maintain proper operation of equipment.
• Clean walking floor tunnels and buildings from dust and debris.
• Sweep underneath conveyors as needed.
