Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Maintenance Night Shift at our Columbia West Quarry in Columbia, MO. The role involves safety participation, disassembly and repair of equipment, lubrication, welding, and basic maintenance of heavy machinery during a 10pm–6am shift.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience with heavy equipment or military maintenance, and the ability to work outdoors year-round. A valid US driver’s license is helpful for site operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and trainings upholding Guardian Angel culture.
• Disassemble machines and remove parts for repairs using hand tools and hoists.
• Inspect equipment for wear and tear.
• Collaborate with team to repair moving machine parts and transport materials.
• Lubricate machinery and perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Operate conveyors and assist with production flow.
• Weld and fabricate as needed.
• Maintain clean work areas and wear PPE properly.
• Notify supervisors of required repairs.
