Under the direction of yard management you will ensure proper weight distribution, load security, plant quality, and delivery readiness, contributing to product integrity and safe transportation. This is a physically demanding outdoor role requiring endurance in variable weather.

Responsibilities

• Load plant material and trees onto delivery trucks
• Ensure proper weight distribution and safe load configurations
• Tie down and tarp loads to meet safety standards
• Strategically load trucks to support multiple customer stops
• Verify correct plant material and quantities before departure
• Maintain quality control standards for outgoing product
• Hand-load smaller material and team-lift larger items as required
• Use basic hand tools including banding tools, hammers, and hand pruners
• Maintain yard cleanliness, organization, and safety
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
