Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Plant Manager to lead a high-performing operation, owning safety, quality, productivity and profitability.

You will oversee all plant activities, including production, maintenance, materials, warehousing and shipping, while driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives. Strong leadership, budgeting and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or related field.
7–10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience leading large teams in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of production operations, quality, maintenance and supply chain processes.
Proven budgeting, cost control and profitability experience.
Strong project planning and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional leadership team across Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Shipping.
Drive safety, accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Ensure on-time production and shipping while meeting quality standards.
Own plant P&L with budgeting, cost control and profitability initiatives.
Develop staffing, production scheduling and material plans to meet objectives.
Monitor performance and resolve issues related to equipment, materials and processes.
Lead Lean initiatives to improve productivity and OEE.
Establish operating procedures, metrics and reporting to drive accountability.
Evaluate capital investments and process improvements.
Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams on new products and growth.
