Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is hiring a Laborer to support plant production and upkeep in our Iowa facility. The role focuses on assisting plant personnel with various production activities and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and areas.

You will wash with high-pressure hoses, paint and clean equipment, operate company vehicles, and perform general labor tasks while keeping safety as a top priority.

High school diploma preferred; must be 18 or older and able to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash parking lot, plant equipment and surroundings with high-pressure hose.
• Paint and wash plant equipment and building fixtures.
• Use standard hand tools and power tools as required.
• Operate company vehicles around plant and property.
• Perform general labor tasks including janitorial cleaning and vehicle washing.
• Maintain safety as top priority in accordance with company rules.
• All other duties as assigned.
