Job summary

Danos in Malaga, NM is seeking a dependable janitor to support daily cleaning and sanitation at our plant site. The role requires a reliable individual who can commute to the location.

You will perform general cleaning tasks, sanitize restrooms and break areas, restock supplies, and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor. Prior custodial experience preferred and a High School Diploma or GED is required. Must lift 25–30 lbs and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25–30 lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to commute reliably to the Malaga, NM plant site.
• Must be able to meet conditional job offer requirements including background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash and recycling from designated areas.
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and restroom products.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and windows.
• Follow all safety protocols while working within the plant environment.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Other cleaning duties as assigned.
