Illinois Tool Works, Inc. is seeking an IT Lead at its Sexton plant in Decatur, AL, to own on-site IT operations and end-user support for manufacturing. The role ensures reliable plant systems, device provisioning, and secure access for production teams.

You will collaborate with segment and regional IT teams, manage endpoints and security, and support plant-floor connectivity while prioritizing production uptime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT support and systems administration in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Windows endpoints, mobile devices, and user productivity systems.
• Familiarity with VPN, Wi‑Fi, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Experience using IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site IT contact for the manufacturing plant and end-user support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues impacting production.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning for staff.
• Support security, MFA enrollment, and incident escalation with regional teams.
