Job summary

Lamb Weston Pasco, WA is seeking an Instrument Technician I to install, service, repair and calibrate electrical, pneumatic and electronic control systems throughout the plant. You will advise supervision on maintenance needs and support uptime objectives.

The role requires a two-year certificate in Instrument/Electronics or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year in related work. English reading/writing skills are essential for safe, effective collaboration across shifts.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate in Instrument/Electronics (Associates Degree) from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education, certifications, licenses and related experience.
• Six months to one year in a related position with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and ability.
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions, write clearly in English, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain plant instrumentation and control systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Read/write programs and schematics; troubleshoot PLCs and control circuits across the plant.
• Install/maintain electrical components such as MCCs, bus duct, conduit; diagnose faults and perform repairs.
