Job Summary

The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing issues that trees and shrubs may face. They are our team of "detectives," viewing each plant disease or infestation as a puzzle they can't wait to solve. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and visit beautiful properties in your community.

Compensation and Benefits

This position pays up to $30 an hour, based on experience. We also offer PTO, full benefits, and a 401(k) plan.

The Plant Health Care Team focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of trees and shrubs on clients' landscapes within a designated territory. Responsibilities include monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest and/or disease infestations, selecting appropriate treatments, and interacting with clients through written diagnostic reports. Customer satisfaction is a key focus.

Ideal Candidate
  • Desires growth, problem-solving, and process improvement
  • Holds a degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or similar experience preferred
  • Can work independently with responsibility and autonomy
  • Has excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills to meet client needs
  • Willing to learn: tree/plant identification, safe use of spray and application equipment
Essential Requirements
  • Willingness to complete required trainings for certifications and licenses
  • Desire to work outdoors
  • Valid driver’s license to operate service vehicles
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
