The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing issues that trees and shrubs may face. They are our team of "detectives," viewing each plant disease or infestation as a puzzle they are eager to solve. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and visit beautiful properties.

Job Description

The Plant Health Care Team focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of trees and shrubs on clients' landscapes within a specific territory. Responsibilities include monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest or disease infestations, selecting appropriate treatments, interacting with clients, providing diagnostic reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What we are looking for:

• A desire to grow, opportunity-driven, loves problem-solving and process improvement
• A Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or related experience
• Tree/Plant Identification experience; Maryland pesticide license preferred
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of spray and application equipment
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Essential requirements:

• Willingness to complete necessary trainings for certifications and licenses
• Desire to work outdoors
• Valid Driver's license
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
