Job Summary

The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing the many issues that trees and shrubs may face. They are our team of "detectives," looking at each plant disease or infestation as a puzzle they can't wait to solve. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and visit beautiful properties in your community.

Compensation and Benefits

This position pays up to $25 an hour based on experience. We also offer PTO, full benefits, and a 401k plan.

The Plant Health Care Team focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of trees and shrubs on clients' landscapes within a specific territory. Responsibilities include monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest and disease infestations, selecting appropriate treatments, interacting with clients, providing diagnostic reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For
  • A desire to grow, opportunity-driven, loves problem-solving and process improvement
  • A Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or similar experience
  • Tree/Plant Identification experience
  • Knowledge of safe and proper use of spray and application equipment
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Essential Requirements
  • Willingness to complete required trainings for certifications and licenses
  • Desire to work outdoors
  • Valid Driver's license for operating service vehicles
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
