Job Summary

The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing issues faced by trees and shrubs. They are our team of "detectives," viewing each plant disease or infestation as a puzzle they are eager to solve. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and visit beautiful properties in your community.

Compensation: This position pays between $20-$28 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits, PTO, and 401K.

The Plant Health Care Team focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of trees and shrubs within a specific territory. Responsibilities include monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest and disease infestations, and selecting appropriate treatments. Additional duties involve interacting with clients, providing written diagnostic reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

• Desires growth, opportunity, loves problem solving and process improvement
• Holds a degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or similar experience preferred
• Can work autonomously with responsibility and independence
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Willing to learn tree/plant identification and proper use of spray and application equipment
• Willing to complete required trainings for certifications and licenses
• Wants to work outdoors
• Possesses a valid driver’s license to operate service vehicles
• Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
