Job summary

People Solutions Center is seeking a Plant Health and Turf Manager to lead the Turf division and drive service quality across multiple properties in Missouri. You will oversee crews, schedule routes, manage budgets, and develop staff to deliver excellence in turf health and fertilization programs.

The role requires 5+ years in turf management, 2+ years in leadership, and a Certified Commercial Applicator License. A degree in turf management or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in turf management or lawn care operations.
• 2+ years in a leadership role (supervising crews or divisions).
• Certified Commercial Applicator License.
• Experience overseeing multiple properties, routes and service lines.

Responsibilities

• Create an atmosphere of cooperation and professionalism within the team.
• Coordinate use of labor, equipment and materials across sites.
• Manage division budgets and controllable costs.
• Ensure quality and customer service through regular site visits.
• Coach and develop field staff, including hiring and retention.

Our client is seeking a Plant Health and Turf Manager to spearhead their Turf division.

Requirements for our Plant Health and Turf Manager:

• 5+ years of experience in turf management, landscaping or lawn care operations
• 2+ years in a leadership role (managing crews, supervisors or divisions)
• Experience overseeing multiple properties, routes and service lines
• Demonstrated understanding of turf health and fertilization programs
• Certified Commercial Applicator License
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams
• Experience scheduling crews, optimizing routes, and ensuring efficient service delivery
• Experience managing budgets, job costing and controlling labor and material costs

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in turf management, horticulture, agronomy or a related field
• Ornamental Turf & Pest Control (MDA-3) Certification
