Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a General Manager for the Martinsville corrugated packaging facility in Martinsville, VA. You will own the P&L, lead sales, operations, and customer service, and drive profitability while delivering high-quality packaging solutions.

You will manage a cross-functional team, foster safety and operational excellence, and travel up to 50% to build customer relationships and capture growth opportunities. This role requires relocation to be near the Martinsville plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with 5+ years in a managerial leadership role in sales or operations.
• Experience leading, developing and coaching teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across operations, sales, and customer service.
• Ensure operations are led with safety, compliance, reliability, quality, and disciplined execution.
• Own the facility’s P&L and drive profitability.
• Develop and execute a market-focused commercial strategy to drive growth.
• Build customer relationships and engage with customers to improve profitability.
• Lead pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and direct customer engagement.
