Job summary

Alldus is partnering with a fast-growing onsite power generation company to recruit a Plant Manager for a large-scale natural gas facility in West Texas. You will lead the site end-to-end with a 90+ workforce across Operations, Maintenance, and Plant Administration.

The role demands P&L ownership, safety leadership, and a track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams in a power generation environment. A relocation sign-on bonus is available for candidates outside the metropolitan area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) strongly preferred; equivalent technical background considered
• Proven leadership experience at a power generation facility
• Experience managing managers and leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory knowledge for generation assets
• Hands-on leader who balances people development with operational rigor

Responsibilities

• Take full P&L and operational accountability for plant safety, reliability, availability, and performance
• Lead and develop the Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Plant Administrator, and a 90+ person workforce
• Drive safety culture and ensure environmental/regulatory/permitting compliance
• Own maintenance strategy, outage planning, and long-term asset health
• Set budgets, KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
• Act as senior site leader and main point of contact for customers and partners

Alldus is partnering with a fast-growing onsite power generation company to find a Plant Manager for a new large-scale natural gas facility in West Texas.

The site is a several hundred MW reciprocating engine power plant serving critical, high-demand infrastructure. You will lead the facility end to end, with a total site headcount of more than 90 people, including direct reports in Operations, Maintenance, and Plant Administration.

What you'll do

• Take full P&L and operational accountability for plant safety, reliability, availability, and performance
• Lead and develop the Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Plant Administrator, and through them a workforce of 90+
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and permit requirements
• Own maintenance strategy, outage planning, and long-term asset health
• Set and manage budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Serve as the senior site leader and key point of contact for customers, utility partners, and corporate leadership

What we're looking for

• Proven leadership experience at a power generation facility, such as combined cycle, simple cycle, coal, or reciprocating engine plants
• Experience managing managers and leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong technical competency in plant operations and maintenance, with the credibility to engage deeply on engineering issues
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) strongly preferred; equivalent technical background considered
• Solid understanding of safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory frameworks for generation assets
• A hands-on leader who balances people development with operational rigor
