Job summary

Affiliated Recruiters Network is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager for the South Central U.S. region (Arkansas/Missouri/Western Tennessee) with relocation required.

This transformation leadership role requires someone who can evolve an established manufacturing culture and drive performance improvements. The ideal candidate will lead from the floor to the boardroom, challenging old assumptions while strengthening leadership and accountability in a long-tenured rural operation.

Qualifications

• Seasoned plant manager with transformation leadership experience.

Our client is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead an established heavy manufacturing operation through its next stage of performance.

This is a transformation leadership role.

We need someone who has stepped into an established manufacturing culture, understood what made it successful, and then helped it evolve, adapt and perform at a higher level.

Someone who can challenge old assumptions, strengthen leadership, raise accountability, encourage new ideas and make meaningful change stick.

Just as important is how you do it.

This is a long-tenured workforce in a smaller, rural manufacturing community. The right leader will be visible and approachable, earn credibility on the floor, communicate the why behind change — and still have the backbone to make difficult decisions.

Change the operation without losing the people.

What we’re looking for

• Proven Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leadership experience
• A demonstrated record of leading meaningful transformation
• A leader who can evolve culture, develop people and improve performance
• Experience assessing, developing and upgrading plant leadership
• Heavy manufacturing strongly preferred — large fabricated products, structural products, heavy/mobile equipment, capital equipment or complex durable goods
• Comfortable in both the boardroom and the break room
• Someone who can genuinely see themselves becoming part of a smaller community
