Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Plant Formulator for the 2nd shift to operate frontline production equipment and contribute to the creation of high-quality products.

You will work 2PM–10PM, with weekends/overtime/holidays as needed, and earn $23.25/hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential. In this role you’ll follow safety practices, meet daily production targets, and collaborate with leads and management to maintain clean, compliant work areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

Plant Formulator - 2nd Shift

Pay: $23.25 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential

Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 2PM to 10PM Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the input and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of using raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Omnium business who is a loyal partner in the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
