Job summary

Adecco seeks a Plant Controller in Modesto, CA to manage monthly close and plant financial reporting, partnering with Operations on cost-saving initiatives and capital projects. This hands-on role requires a strong manufacturing background and SAP experience to drive accurate budgeting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will analyze costs, variances, inventory, and standard costs while delivering financial insight to plant leadership. Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• SAP experience is required.
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting/forecasting and variance analysis.
• Understanding of inventory and standard costing.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close and plant financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Partner with Operations on cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor inventory and standard costs.
• Support capital projects, fixed assets and financial controls.
• Provide financial insight to plant leadership.
