Job summary

Forvia seeks a Division FES and Productivity Manager to drive lean initiatives and productivity across the plant. You will lead FES deployment, coach teams, and advance continuous improvement through digital tools and training programs.

The role requires deep knowledge of FES principles, change management skills, and a track record in production environments. Fluency in English and a Bachelor’s degree are required, with sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Network animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skills.
• Ability to train and coach within all levels of the plant.
• Continuous improvement mind set.
• Ability to master change.
• Understand basic P&L and operational levers.
• Fluent English language knowledge: written and spoken.
• Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience (Production / PC&L / Quality Manager…).
• Recommended 3 years of working experience within a production environment (e.g. Engineer, Supervisor, Manager level or equivalent)
• Recognized experience and ability to improve processes and KPI's within a plant using FES principles.
• Previous plant launch experience and previous management experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering, or similar field of study.

Responsibilities

• FES Excellence Leader: provide FES expertise at the plant level, collaborate with departments to create an impactful deployment plan.
• Support Production System deployment, standardized work, OHP development, and lead FES training sessions.
• Contribute to lead time reduction through continuous flow and Kanban loop sizing.
• Lead digital tools deployment, ensuring data quality and training on tools like NEO, DMC, mLean.
• Participate in FES principles application from design stage, implementing lean process design and plant good practices.
• Productivity & Waste Reduction Champion: reduce Gap to Benchmark for Plant Operations and participate in productivity workshops.
• Contribute to MOD, MFC, Scrap/Yield improvement initiatives focusing on Hoshin, 7 wastes, cycle time, bottlenecks.
• Ensure DLE/DLP tracking and action plans, close gaps to DLE max.
• Run value management workshops for MFC and lead problem-solving for Scrap/Yield.
• FES Network Animator: act as change agent, cultivate a FES mindset, promote FES X.0.
