Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist for a large union manufacturing plant in Michigan. The role focuses on managing environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits with emphasis on water/wastewater, stormwater, or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in a related technical field.
• Experience with regulatory reports and permits is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
