CareerNerds, LLC seeks a Plant Environmental Specialist to oversee compliance for a large union manufacturing facility in Michigan. You will manage regulatory reports, permits, and environmental issues with a focus on water/wastewater/stormwater or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management, reporting to the Plant EHS Manager.

You will develop and maintain compliant processes, coach line personnel, coordinate sampling, and prepare required records for Federal, State, and Local authorities.

Formación

• At least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in a related technical field is required.
• Experience with permits and regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Experience in a union manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure permit and regulation compliance.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Prepare and submit required reports and maintain associated records.
