Job summary

Ford at the Arizona Proving Grounds seeks an experienced environmental engineer to provide technical and regulatory support to the non-manufacturing team. You will complete regulatory reports, respond to agency inquiries, and collaborate with local operations and other Ford sites to reduce water, waste, and material usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant environmental experience.
• 1+ year of environment manufacturing/compliance exposure.
• 1+ year of Microsoft Office applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day technical and regulatory support for environmental media/operational subjects (air, water, waste, etc.).
• Supports achievement of corporate footprint and non-manufacturing objectives.
• Prepares regulatory reports and responds to agency inquiries and compliance issues.
• Reviews site projects and provides direction for environmental compliance and sustainability.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable national, regional, and local environmental requirements.
• Represents Ford on environmental matters with external entities.
