Job summary
Accuride Corporation seeks a Manager of Engineering & Technical Services to lead the plant engineering and technical services groups in Erie. You will translate the operational plan into CAPEX strategies, support new product technologies and manufacturing innovations, and drive continuous improvement with lean and safety initiatives.
The role requires 10 years of manufacturing leadership, experience with CNC/forging/roll forming, and a strong track record in budgeting and cross-functional
Qualifications
- 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations (auto preferred).
- CNC machining, forging and/or roll forming experience required.
- Unionized environment experience is necessary.
- Lean Manufacturing concepts and ISO/IATF Quality Systems familiarity.
- Strong CAPEX budgeting and project management knowledge.
- Environmental, safety and compliance expertise.
- Effective communication with all management levels is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to plant engineering and technical services groups.
- Translate plant plans into CAPEX and manufacturing technology strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Lead design, testing and qualification of new products from a production view.
- Collaborate with Corporate Engineering on new product technologies.
- Develop and manage a high-performance engineering team.
