Whatever your title, whatever your role — it always comes back to this: we’re a farmer-owned co-op where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done. Three maverick farmers started it all — and we’ve been making our own way ever since.

In this role, the Plant Engineering Supervisor provides direct supervision to engineering technicians and stockroom coordinators, ensuring effective daily support of plant maintenance and engineering activities. This position coordinates work priorities, supports execution of engineering and maintenance projects, and ensures timely availability of parts and materials to meet operational needs. The supervisor plays a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting process improvements, and enabling continuous improvement initiatives within the facility. This role focuses on hands‑on leadership, resource coordination, and execution of technical support services aligned with plant priorities.

  • Ensure accurate inventory control and timely availability of spare parts and materials to support maintenance and engineering work.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, controls, and other plant functions to support equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and automation initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing continuous improvement activities related to equipment performance, plant flow, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Support capital project execution by coordinating resources, tracking costs, and ensuring completion of assigned deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, food safety requirements (FDA/GMP/AIB/SQF), and company policies in all engineering support activities.
  • Participate in planning and scheduling activities to align engineering support work with production demands and plant priorities.
  • Support training and development of team members, including technical skill‑building and cross‑training within the team.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment by addressing day‑to‑day operational and personnel issues within the team.
  • Escalate complex technical or operational issues to appropriate plant leadership as needed.
