Job summary

Guardian Glass in Kingsburg, CA is seeking an Engineering Plant Project Manager to lead the Project Engineering function and drive capital projects that improve plant performance, capacity, quality, and cost. You will align initiatives with site priorities and ensure disciplined scope, cost, and schedule execution.

The role owns the capital project portfolio and engineering-driven improvements across the plant, with relocation assistance available and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, business case, and ROI analysis experience to support project prioritization and delivery.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills across cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the project engineering team to deliver high-impact capital and improvement projects.
• Own the capital project execution process (scope definition, justification, budgeting, execution, and closeout).
• Ensure all projects meet safety, environmental, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Drive project pipeline development aligned with plant strategy.
• Manage contractors, engineering firms, and vendors to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Develop team capability in project management and technical skills.
