Plansee Group USA is seeking a Plant Engineering and Automation Manager in Towanda, PA to lead engineering and automation across multiple departments, manage capital projects, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with broad experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and complex enterprise processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Chemical preferred)
• Extensive experience leading engineers in a technology-driven manufacturing environment
• Strong project management and multi-tasking capabilities
• Familiarity with OSHA, DEP, and PSM regulations

Support for safety, regulatory, and PSM programs.In matters relating to site infrastructure the Plant Engineering and Automation Manager works closely with various functions including GTP’s Environmental and Safety Department to ensure installations are complying and regulatory requirements with public authorities, government agencies and local residents.Ownership with support staff of Plant Engineering, Drafting, Automation, Electronics, Construction services, General Maintenance, facilities and HVAC.Accountability of the Engineering , Drafting, Automation, Electronics Department, Construction Services, General Maintenance, facilities and HVAC for technical and equipment support to the plant.Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred) and/or equivalent experience.Extensive professional experience in a technology-driven, heterogeneous industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in a role such as that described above.Combinations of strong social skills with an assertive personality and have considerable experience in managing highly qualified engineers and experts from different disciplines.Experience in planning and implementing large-scale investment projects and will be capable of coordinating complex, enterprise-wide processes.
