Job summary

Consolidated Asset Management Services is seeking a Plant Engineer for the Middletown Energy Center to provide technical leadership and engineering support for safe, reliable, and compliant operation. You will work with operations, maintenance, contractors, and corporate teams on outages, reliability improvements, capital projects, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on plant experience with gas turbine combined cycle plants, strong troubleshooting, and ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years in power generation operations, maintenance, or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of combined cycle plant systems and controls.
• Troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support for all plant systems and processes.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support root cause analyses.
• Monitor performance, heat rate, and reliability metrics for optimization.
• Develop scopes of work, specs, and bid packages for maintenance and outages.
• Support outages planning, contractor coordination, and post-outage reviews.
• Assist with reliability programs and CMMS maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate contractors and supervisors, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Promote safety culture and support regulatory requirements.
