Job summary

Otter Tail Power Company seeks a Plant Engineer to join the Big Stone Plant team, at Engineer I–III levels depending on qualifications. You’ll help maintain and improve plant operations, boosting efficiency while supporting reliable, economical, and environmentally responsible electricity.

Key responsibilities include managing plant improvement projects, including thermal performance engineering, and advising other departments to reduce costs and increase plant availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code and ASCE standards is a plus.
• Ability to work in variable conditions; role may be physical at times.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant improvement projects, including thermal performance engineering.
• Advise other departments to reduce operating costs and increase plant availability.
