Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center in California is seeking a Per Diem Maintenance Technician to support the hospital's essential services. You will maintain and repair medical and facility equipment, ensuring safe operations and compliance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities include logging equipment activity, performing mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and gas-related maintenance, and driving as needed for company business.

Qualifications

  • Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
  • Also maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
  • Driving as needed for company business.

Pay Transparency

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.17 to $38.17. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
