Job summary

Huntington Beach Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a 131-bed acute-care community hospital. Responsibilities include logging equipment, performing safety checks, and maintaining mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems.

Occasional driving for hospital business is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to troubleshoot from schematics or blueprints.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, read schematics and/or blueprints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains logs on all equipment and provides a safe working environment.
• Maintains and repairs equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Travel/drive as needed for company business.

Responsibilities

Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment. Also maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Driving as needed for company business.

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $24.18 to $27.57. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
