Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, is seeking a Plant 2 EHS Technician for the Springfield, MO facility. The role supports the Sr. Safety Engineer to ensure safe, healthy, and regulatory compliant working conditions within a manufacturing environment.

The position requires a proactive safety professional with experience in industrial hygiene, lead monitoring, audits, and training. Candidates should be prepared for irregular hours and some travel for training and certification

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in manufacturing safety or industrial hygiene.
• English language required.
• CAOHC certification is a plus and may be pursued after hiring.
• Basic chemistry knowledge and calibration techniques are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct Airborne Lead Monitoring.
• Perform Safety Audits/Walkthroughs/Reviews.
• Prepare and conduct Safety Training sessions.
• Conduct Sound Level Monitoring and Noise Dosimetry.
• Maintain databases of Safety/Health training and test results.
• Lead or participate in Employee Safety and Ergonomics Committees.
