Job summary

Snack Innovations is seeking a hands-on Plant Director to lead daily operations across production, fulfillment, and packaging in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in New Jersey. The role requires driving on-time delivery, staffing readiness, and continuous improvement to maximize throughput and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of plant or operations management experience.
• Background in food production, packaging, or regulated manufacturing required.
• Experience in high-mix, high-volume environments with short lead times.
• Strong expertise in throughput optimization, labor planning, and production execution.
• Proven leadership in fast-paced, execution-driven environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, and HACCP standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant operations across production, fulfillment, and shipping.
• Drive execution against aggressive timelines in a short lead-time environment.
• Maintain full visibility across all active orders and proactively ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure daily operational readiness, including staffing, materials, and production priorities.
• Balance workflows to maintain consistent and efficient production flow.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams.
• Establish clear performance metrics and hold teams accountable to results.
• Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement.
