Russell Stover Chocolates, LLC is seeking a Plant Director for its Abilene, KS facility. You will be the senior onsite leader responsible for safety, quality, and overall plant performance, directing ~500 staff and partnering with engineering and HR to drive capital investments and a culture of continuous improvement.

The role demands a strong track record in manufacturing leadership, Lean practices, and SAP proficiency to ensure cost-efficient manufacturing and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with lean tools (5S, TPM, Six Sigma).
• Experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment.
• Training in engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production operations, safety, maintenance engineering, quality and CI efforts.
• Manage daily plant operations to meet production and business goals.
• Hire, train, motivate and develop staff to build a high-performing workforce.
• Ensure employee safety while improving plant effectiveness and efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering to execute capital investments addressing cost and capacity needs.
• Collaborate with HR to develop programs for a high-performing culture.
• Monitor plant performance through production data and analysis.
• Lead staff to develop present and future capacities for cost-efficient operations.
• Ensure schedules are planned and executed on time, optimize processes to reduce waste.
