Job summary

Qualifications

• Required: Customer service or related work experience in manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: 3 to 5 years of manufacturing industry experience with leading teams.
• Required: High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Represent Smurfit Westrock to customers as the critical liaison among the customer, sales, production and operations.
• Coach and guide Customer Account Specialists and support leadership with strategic initiatives.
• Lead the customer service team and oversee training and development.
• Manage relationships with customers, including house or distribution/brokers.
• Collaborate with production, shipping, maintenance, quality, and planning to optimize efficiency.
• Review customer specs and order processing documentation for accurate production.
• Participate in daily cross-functional meetings and monitor production status.
• Mentor and onboard specialists on order processing systems and best practices.
