Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services in Louisiana seeks a Custodian to maintain cleanliness of the plant. You will perform daily janitorial tasks, keep floors swept, trash emptied, and assist with loading/unloading and cart washing.

You will follow the cleaning schedule, ensure restrooms and fixtures are spotless, and handle miscellaneous duties as assigned by Plant Manager or Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic daily janitorial tasks as directed.
• Ensure floors are swept in aisles and under machinery.
• Empty all trash receptacles.
• Blow down plant as requested for lint.
• Move/relocate items as requested by Plant Manager or Supervisors.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as requested.
• Assist with cart washing.
• Assist with cleaning tools as requested.
• Ensure rest rooms are cleaned daily in accordance with company standards.
• Toilets, sinks, mirrors and fixtures cleaned to remove stains and mildew/mold growth.
• Walls wiped down; baseboards scrubbed to reduce dust buildup.
• Break room kept free of trash; tables wiped.
• Parking lot kept trash and linen free; fence line maintained.
• Follow a detailed cleaning schedule.
• Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
