Job summary

The Simplot Company seeks a maintenance technician responsible for plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, program, document, upgrade, and install systems to keep operations at peak efficiency.

Work primarily on-site with Team Leaders and Supervisors, performing calibrations, installations, and corrective actions as needed to minimize downtime and meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Technical apprenticeship or associate degree in related field advantageous.
• Experience with programming and PLC operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant instrumentation and control systems.
• Install, calibrate, document, and upgrade equipment as assigned.
• Work with team leaders and supervisors to meet operational goals.
