The role reports to plant leadership and commands full accountability for financial performance and operational profitability. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive manufacturing finance experience, strong cost accounting know-how, and a proven ability to translate financial data into actionable operational decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a Plant Controller, Site Controller, Operations Controller, or similar senior manufacturing finance leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial activities for a $200M+ manufacturing operation, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
• Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team to drive profitability, productivity, and operating performance.
• Drive plant budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning to identify trends and opportunities.
• Improve labor efficiency, material costs, overhead, inventory, productivity, and operating margins.
• Own and improve plant cost accounting, including standard costs, variances, inventory valuation, absorption, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop and monitor KPIs linking financial and operational performance for leadership insights.
• Lead capital expenditure analysis, process improvements, and productivity initiatives.
• Ensure integrity of financial controls, reporting, and compliance with policies.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the plant finance/accounting team with a culture of accountability.
