Job summary

You will lead monthly closes, prepare management reports, monitor controls, and coordinate with HR, Purchasing and Sales to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-level stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• High integrity and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Guide financial decisions by establishing policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monthly financial reporting with a 3‑day monthly close and journal entries.
• Prepare management reports and present results to Sea-Dog management and corporate.
• Prepare quarterly budgets with data collection, analysis, and consolidation.
• Analyze variances, schedule expenditures, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead inventory management and physical inventory control procedures.
• Conduct margin analysis by customer and product and assist pricing strategy.
• Oversee accounts payable approvals and assist in collections when needed.
• Coordinate information for external auditors and annual audit.
