Selby Jennings is seeking a Plant Controller for a U.S.-based manufacturing organization. The role reports to Manufacturing Finance leadership and Plant Manager, driving operational performance through financial partnership, analysis, controls, and strategic decision support.

The ideal candidate will analyze spend, variances, and cost trends, lead forecasting and budgeting, and identify cost-reduction opportunities while supporting plant operations with strong financial insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant finance role.
• Experience supporting plant operations within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing spend, material variances, labor variances, and cost trends.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, and financial performance tracking.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and operational efficiencies.
• Support maintenance and repair spending analysis, ensuring controls and cost optimization.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and business case evaluations as needed.
