Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Plant Controller/Site Director in Lyndhurst, NJ to lead budgeting, forecasting, and P&L activities for the plant. You will manage month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, and oversee inventory, standard costs, and depreciation while partnering with the Plant Manager on strategic financial insights.

You will drive cost analysis, production costing, and ROI-based improvement initiatives, working closely with operations and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience as plant controller or site finance leader.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Cost accounting, inventory, and production costing experience.
• ERP systems expertise, preferably QuickBooks, Oracle or SAP.
• Leadership of finance staff and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibilities for the plant.
• Manage month-end and year-end close with reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory controls, standard costs, and depreciation.
• Provide business analytics and ROI recommendations.
• Collaborate with operations on production costs and variances.
• Support audits and maintain financial statements.
• Partner with Plant Manager to drive continuous improvement.
