Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant Controller to join a leading manufacturing company in the Warsaw, IN area. The Plant Controller is a key member of the Plant Leadership team, playing a strategic role in driving operational and financial performance. This position is responsible for managing spending, inventory, and assets, and partnering with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and implement initiatives that enhance profitability, efficiency, and growth.

Shift and Compensation:

• Day Shift
• Target Salary: $120K - $140K DOE

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, or related field, with at least five (5) years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing/assembly/distribution environments.
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• CPA is a plus.
• Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Plant Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to influence decisions and drive results.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for operational leaders.
• Lead initiatives to improve plant performance, efficiency, and costs.
• Prepare and present monthly financial and operational reports.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting aligned with division strategy.
• Support plant transformation projects through financial modeling and analysis.
• Manage the plant’s cost accounting functions, including variances and standard rates.
• Collaborate with departments to support manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with month-end close and capital investment evaluations.
• Standardize internal processes for inventory, costing, and controls.
• Support lean manufacturing and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead year-end audits and physical inventory counts.
