Job summary

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) seeks a Plant Controller to manage all financial operations for a NW Ohio manufacturing plant, overseeing planning, reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting. The role includes leadership of the accounting staff and implementation of internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and at least 3 years of plant financial management experience within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports for corporate accounting purposes.
• Provide business analysis to identify cost reductions and productivity improvements.

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Plant Controller for a global and industry leading high volume manufacturing facility in NW Ohio.

Overview / Responsibilities;

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Plant Controller to oversee all financial operations of the manufacturing plant, to include; financial planning, performance analysis and reporting, preparation of monthly and annual P& L statements, balance sheets, general ledger and cost accounting activities, capital and operating budget development and statutory reporting for the Division. Provide business analysis to understand manufacturing variance, variable and fixed costs, impacts of productivity improvements and capital investments.

• Manage and mentor accounting staff, provide training and support to staff on accounting procedures and best practices.
• As a key member of the executive team, responsible for leading the design, development, and oversight of all plant financial operations.
• Completes analysis of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operating targets.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide insights into plant performance.
• Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Oversee budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Utilize financial software for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Preparation of financial reports for corporate accounting purposes.

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business required.

Minimum 3+ years of plant financial management experience required.

Manufacturing experience required.
