Job summary

LaSalle Network in Manchester, CT is seeking a Plant Controller to lead all financial activities at the site and partner with operations to drive business performance.

As the Plant Controller you will shape financial strategy, oversee budgeting and forecasting, manage reporting and controls, and deliver meaningful insights to improve performance. You will collaborate with site leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CIMA or ACA designation preferred.
• 7–10 years progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in cost accounting and financial planning.
• ERP implementation experience is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial activities for the manufacturing site, including cost accounting, general accounting, inventory, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, corporate policies and local regulations.
• Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis, recommendations and insights that support business decisions.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, forecasting process and long-range financial planning.
• Establish and monitor key financial performance indicators to improve operational performance.
• Lead internal controls, audit readiness and compliance initiatives.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including financial commentary and strategic analysis.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk, improve efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships and contribute as a key member of the site leadership team
