• Strong ERP/MES fluency and data-driven decision making.

Job description

Our client, a Business Manufacturing and Supply company, is looking for a Plant Controller for their Keene, NH location.

Responsibilities:

• The Plant Controller is the financial backbone of a ~$100M opto-mechanical defense and imaging manufacturing operation, owning the integrity of the plant's financials from the shop floor up.
• This hands-on role demands deep expertise in internal controls (SOX, inventory, and revenue-cycle safeguards over a large, WIP-heavy balance sheet), cost accounting (standard costing, BOMs, work orders, and manufacturing variance analysis), and managerial accounting (product-line and program margin analytics, absorption, and the monthly plant P&L, inventory, and capital forecast).
• The Controller partners directly with Operations to tie financial results to production performance - separating real cost improvements from mix - challenges assumptions unsupported by manufacturing data, and delivers audit-ready reporting and honest, decision-useful analysis to leadership.

Requirements:

• We’re looking for 7+ years in cost and managerial accounting within a complex discrete-manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated track record building and enforcing rigorous internal controls
• Strong ERP/MES fluency
